This flour is prepared for making porridge from a special Traditional Rice Variety called “Karuppu Kowni”. This is a Traditional Rice Variety of Tamil Nadu. It has several medicinal properties that provide immunity against respiratory disorders. The porridge can be given to children as a weaning food. It is rich in Iron, Protein, Calcium and high levels of Magnesium and Zinc.
